Description:
This specialty credit program in the wellness category looks at the wellness issue as a function of lawyer burnout. Tracing data on burnout across the profession, with a look at studies on burnout among gender, practice area, and age for lawyers, this program addresses the symptoms and causes of burnout, along with topical, useful tools to implement at the lawyer and law firm level to mitigate burnout so we may unleash our best inner advocate for our clients. In a first, this Program also looks at an aspect of burnout not discussed enough: the role of judges in adding to lawyer stress and burnout, how that impacts lawyers, and additional tools that can be employed to address the role of the judiciary in causing burnout and damaging attorney wellness too. There are some crazy lawyer stories along the way of burnout from judges, and some honest practical advice without preaching or lecturing.
