Andrew's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and unfair competition actions, with a particular expertise in healthcare, private equity, insurance and the defense of consumer suits. In the managed healthcare and insurance fields, he has litigated numerous class actions and individual unfair business practices suits, bad faith actions, and rescission litigations. Andrew also has represented clients in trials and other litigation of significant matters involving real estate, title insurance, intellectual property, false advertising, employment, misappropriation of trade secrets, product liability, professional liability, partnerships, indemnity, contribution, subrogation, and other areas of the law, and has served as regulatory counsel and governance advisor to healthcare clients. Susan conducts an active litigation practice, representing clients in complex insurance coverage matters, including bad faith and other commercial and contract litigation matters. Her clients span a range of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, telecommunications, software and Internet technology, entertainment, aerospace, and financial services. Susan also provides advice to senior management and executives on how to mitigate risks and maximize insurance protections and recoveries with respect to policy procurement, negotiations, reviews, and renewals. She has conducted insurance policy audits for numerous clients involving numerous types of coverages, including directors’ and officers’ liability, errors and omissions liability, fiduciary liability, property, political risk, multimedia and general liability.
